Sorry to the mods if this doesn't belong, but:

My 12 year old daughter will be living with her uncle and cousins for about 6 weeks this summer in The Hague. I am hoping to find a club for with which she can do some training while there, as my nephew's club is for boys only.

If anyone can recommend a club that will be playing in the summer please let me know.

Also, I coach in the classic division for a very large youth soccer club which is interested in establishing ties with other clubs, in The Netherlands, and I am hoping to set up a trip for friendlies or tournaments next spring with what will be a U-13 girls team in The Netherlands, not just in the Hague.

Anyone with a comment please reply here or PM me.

    Thanks,

    Matt

There are many youth football teams you can join with, I just don't know if any of them have girls teams.

Is the uncle too lazy to check the Gouden Gids and call around or something? :D

Actually, yes, and he reads the boards (maybe not the Holland board), so this is partially an attempt to SHAME him. And what about the socks (he'll know what that means)?

I have no idea but there certainly are some football clubs around with girl teams.

Most decent football-clubs have a girlsteams. In The Hague there are some smaller clubs that started of as a 'friends-club' so never thought about a girls-possibility. But if it's only for 6weeks, I don't think it's that useful. I'd say let her get familiar with the streetfootball Den Haag has to offer (although it depends a bit of the neighbourhood the uncle lives in). Six weeks isn't that long.
