I was quite impressed by VRL at Celtic Park. Very well organised team and their 'keeper seemed to have a very good game. Bit of a mirror image of the last round from my perspective.

I still have enough confidence to think that we will score at least 1 or 2 over there. It would be interesting to hear the opinions of you guys who follow spanish football regularly.

Sorry, I know this is off topic but any comments would be appreciated.

Well...this is an unexpected turn of events. The tims are probably cursing their luck. But best of luck to Amarillo Submarino.

I finally bought Tivo, so I was able to record and then watch this game when I got home from work.

    First off...

Jose mari falls down when the wind blows.

    Both goals were beautiful...

the pass to Anderson's head was brilliant and the finish by Roger was clinical!

Celtic didnt seem to create chances and possesion seemed ot stay with Villa.

Riquelme came and went, had flashes of brilliance.

    Reina looked good.
it was great to see some of the former Barca boys playing (reina., anderson, riquelme)

    I'm here mate.

Well all I can say is that we were knocked out by a better team over the 2 legs. Very disappointed obviously but alas it was not to be. I have to say that Villarreal have been a revelation for me. After the high of knocking you guys out we get knocked out by a 'lesser' team. It's a sore one but that's football.

Nice to see the Celtic supporters being gracious in defeat and getting on well with the VR supporters. All the very best to them in the next round.

As for jose mari, that guy is a joke. No wonder they are called the yellow submarine! Dive! Dive! Dive! :)

how ironic, Celtic lost the same way as we did against them. Anyway, that just proves how lucky they were against us. Its all end now and Villarreal is in semifinal, what is happening with football, where are all famous worldwide teams - all knocked out!!
