    Thanks for your optimism, Gunner!

We've been through too many "almosts" to be that hopeful, but a lot of us haven't felt this good about this team in years. We can only hope you're right!

I used to say that we are all just unwilling passengers on a runaway train to doom an annihilation. Brief spasms of joy, like 5 MLS Cup finals, are only there to point out the total hopelessness of all human endeavor.

But aside from that, I'm a pretty happy guy!

You could make a case for either Gil or Bou, and with keepers being an entirely different animal than field players, you would not be out of line mentioning Turner. Those 3 guys are the real difference-makers for this team, and any of them can steal a game all by themselves.

My picks would have been Gil (get made 70% of our offense last year) or Turner (kept the scores way lower than our defense deserved).

My dark horse is Luis Caicedo, because he has the chance to make the leap from good DM to great DM. Having a Hoover in the center of the formation would make the team that much better

Yeah, I'm not sure about a site that calls the Revs "Major League Soccer giants."

In the same sense that the San Francisco Giants are giants?...;)

Well, the Cow-lumbus Crew are allegedly a "massive" club, the MetroFilth are a "SuperClub" and the Galaxatives are the "Jewel" of MLS.

    So we might be Giants

If signed, I think he'd be our second Cameroonian, following in the rather questionable footsteps of Stephane Assengue (2 games played). We certainly have had plenty from Western Africa, between the Ghana and Gambia.
