In a battle between a pair of CAA teams in the Top 10 of this week's RPI, No. 6 James Madison beat No. 7 Old Dominion 3-2.

ODU came into the game leading the nation in scoring at 3.00 per game but only managed 5 shots on goal.

Paul Wyatt, a Jr. from England, had a goal and 2 assists and teammate Patrick Innes scored his 11th.

JMU also kept ODU Jr. Yannick Smith (15 goals) who entered the game among the national scoring leaders off the board.

This win puts the Dukes in great shape for a first round bye and if they win out they might end up a top 8 seed.

Gotta love this quote from the JMU Coach:

JMU coach Tom Martin praised Wyatt's play.

"If you put a paint brush on his rear end," the veteran coach said, "he'd probably paint the whole field if you let him. His work rate is just phenomenal...."
