Is the field really dark, or am I having a stroke?

 

It is very simple. The coach is under no obligation to do what the fans want and he either fails of succeeds but he has to please nobody.

My vote is on the side of "stroke" as the field looks fine to me.

 

I really hate this slow plodding play at the back. It simply slows the match down and gives no advantage to the passing team.

So far he's looked underwhelming both in defense and going forward. So perhaps it's a choice-eliminating opportunity?

not sure if it’s the crowd, the cold, the opponent, idk. But this should be a good test for the US to show they can impose their will on a lesser opponent that is bunkering. Hopefully they turn it up here soon

 

I remember in 1998 FIFA made a big deal of making slide tackles from behind red cards.

Contrast that with the foul on Puli. Red was too harsh but that’s gotta be a yellow, just to protect skilled players .
