Vergara would let Medina leave, wether Nestor de La Torre and his croonies agree is another issue. Medina was going to get loaned out a while back, but the knee injury really side tracked him. I like the comparison to Osorno and Zepeda : both promising players that didnt amount to much.

    Great match by Chivas!!
    Congrats to Esparza.

I don't know what to say about Santa Fe, they looked quite inferior.

But, alot of em also said that the colombians were lucky to only leave with a 3-0 defecit and that thankfully Chivas was missing half their team.

Final 3-1 Santa Fe. The field was in horrible condition, and Chivas got a much needed goal to put this game away early. The rest was just a result of the awful field conditions and an indifferent Chivas team looking ahead to Thursday's match. Johnny Garcia was bad as usual, as the first goal went through his legs and the second was his clearance that bounced off an opponents legs. Other than that, the rest had an average game.

This game wasnt spectacular, but they won and thats all that really matters. I wished they would have passed the ball around more rather than booting it wherever, when they did they slowed Santa Fe down. I dont think they were outplayed though, it was on Santa Fe to play with a sense of urgency.

That field was nice, after seeing it today im sure its the envy of the Western Hemisphere. Way to go Santa Fe! Your team was overwhelmed and outclassed by the Chivas, but your field made up for it by being top notch.
