http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/blagojevich/2427402,CST-NWS-BLAGO24.article Is this the start of something? Somebody once said... that it would have been nearly impossible for Obama to make it through Chicago politics wihout being corrupt. My favorite part is the conversation between Rod & Patti Blago. Rod Blagojevich to his wife on Barack Obama's marriage R.B.: He's more henpecked than me. So he listens to Michelle Obama more than I listen to you. Rod Blagojevich on a job with the Salvation Army R.B.: Oh, that would be huge. But do you have to wear a uniform? Forget that. Rod Blagojevich on a job at the United Way R.B: The United Way. What is the United Way?
It's not about racism. It's about whether you lied when you said that you have a very similar ethnic background to Obama. Because if you lied about that to deflect the charge of racism, why would we credit anything you say whatsoever? So I want to know. You brought it up.
I've a similar ethnic background to Obama... we were both born in Indonesia. ;P And Blaggo's point about Barry being the more hen-pecked politician seems spot on.
Yet somehow completely beside the point. Speaking of the point, I don't really understand Steamer's point in starting this thread. Are we somehow to make the leap from "Obama is **********whipped" to "Obama is **********whipped and from Chicago so he must be corrupt"?
didja read the Sun Times article, not the convo between Patti and Rod, which, btw, convinces me that Blago's not henpecked.
I don't know if he is hen-pecked or pussie-whipped, but Obama is definately a product of the Chicago political machine.
Isn't that true of anyone that practices politics in Chicago? I'm from Washington. When people Muther**** Washington they're talking about the politicians that come here and **** things up. Some of them from your home state.
It's because she has to concentrate all the time so that she doesn't slip up and accidentally yell out "ALLAHU AKBAR, DEATH TO THE GREAT SATAN".
I thought Barack was the Manchurian muslim and Michelle the black liberation theologist? This gets so f'ng confusing.
I'm all for open debate, but this is one s-t-r-e-t-c-h of a thread. Closed. (and yes, I read the article. There's nothing there, there)
