I visited NZ several years back and I like to pick up jerseys of teams of countries I visit. I couldn't find one when I was down there...anyone have a suggestion of where I might find one? thanks.

I have seen NZ nats jerseys being sold before, but I've been curious to see (and buy) some Southern Trust National League team jerseys. I have an old family friend who moved to Dunedin, Otago many years back and was a professor at the U. of Otago. I was reminded of him by a rugby match on FSW involving the Highlanders, who I now follow for that sport. I remember seeing a Dunedin Technical Jersey somewhere, and liking it (green and gold, I believe, which are my old university's colors), but I'm not sure where. It's so hard to find any good info on the STNL, much less merchandise. Seems the federation has no website, nor the league, nor individual teams (Dunedin Tech shares space on a site called Soccer Otago ) Good luck finding a jersey, mate. I'll be curious to know your results.

Unfortunately, Soccer Scene does not run a website. New Zealand is divided into seven federations that report to Soccer New Zealand. The southern most of the federations is Southern Soccer (http://www.southernfed.co.nz/) that includes Soccer Otago (http://www.soccerotago.co.nz/). Dunedin Tech is located at 10 Freyberg Street, Dunedin and their contact is Wendy Lucas on +64 3 455 4395. I suspect that if you walked into the Dunedin Tech clubrooms you could purchase a jersey from the bar. I am not aware of any stores selling National League jerseys as most supporters buy them direct from the clubs after the games. Crowdie.
