I noticed that Chicago likes to punt and run Mapp down the left flanks a lot. I think if we can contain Mapp we stall their attacks. Their defense (dispite giving up 8 goals the last 3 games) is pretty decent, and this is definatly a game we could use Claudio because he can play those balls that can slice open Curtin and Brown, who lack pace.

I can see us really pushing Richards this game and this is a game that cries out for Angel and Altidore to start. I dont think their defenders can handle them both, especially with Mathis and Reyna providing the orchastration.

If we had our first choice team ready i would say at least a 2 goal win, but i am going to say this is gonna be a chippy afair and a defensive test of will.

1-0. (we get a goal but control the majority of the game..similar to the Dallas game in Dallas)

Im going. This is my first game of the year...Im so pumped!!!

Anyway...a few weeks ago this looked like a great matchup on paper, now not so much. Chicago has lost their last three games and we just came off a 4-0 drubbing of the Crew. Chicago is desperate for a win so I think they will be attacking alot, which could lead to a high scoiring game. 4-3 Bulls

If we keep Dema back there at RB, and if Dunivant can hold it down on the left (when Mapp switches to the right side every now and then), we'll be ok. It's getting past Curtain and CJ Brown. They may f*** up JPA, Jozy and Woly's aerial game.

1-0. JPA (hardest working striker in the league).

We'll do our best to be loud since some of those who were there this past Sat won't be able to go.

We have to compensate for their absense.

WIPEOUT will live again. We filmed 3:30 mins of it, and it came through on the telecast. "Everywhere we go" and "Juan Pablo Angel" were also loud.

Let's keep it up folks. Less than a dozen home games left.

    Yeah, just noticed that.

My co-worker snapped up the 4 tix and is coming. He'll be tired after watching his beloved Ecuador play the previous nite, but he's down, he'll probably wear his Emelec jersey.

Chicago got rattled at home, no way they pick it up on the road.

    2-0. Angel, Altidore.

Mathis for Schopp. Jozy should be done with the whole prom thing, he starts up top. Woly off the bench, I suppose.

What is up with Claudio? I agree we will see Schopp this Thursday but I say he comes on as a sub and I think Woly will start too and Alti will come on as a sub as well...

Thanks for starting this thread jamison and beating me to it...I have been swamped with work and family stuff... but shouldn't you indicate in the thread title that this is the pre-during and post game thread as well as an [R] too...or is this just the pre-game thread...

I actually hope Reyna heals in time for this one (possible - but who knows with the slacker injury-reports of MLS), in which case Reyna in for Stammler, and Stammler as a sub.

Exactly the line up I have in main, only with a little variation, Atidore instead of Mathis
