I caught this show last monday by chance. Its a interesting show they had George Vecsey as a guest, also Steve (jones?) of the Sex Pistols, talk all types of soccer, from what I heard mostly European, but they sounded knowledgable about the MLS, and like they actually care about the MLS. I think they're both English but def from the UK.
Thanks Thanks for the kind words (you'd be surprised how rare they can be!) Next week, Eric Wynalda in studio and a few other special guests And yes, we care about MLS - it's up to all of us to make it a success! Nick

Been listening to these guys for a long while. They are even-handed, realistic, love the game and the show is entertaining, too! Welcome NYC!

It really is a good show...I was very happy at being able to listen to a soccer show on New York radio. Can anyone post the number to call the radio station at so that a few of us could call them and tell them how much we like the show. They stated a few times that this would really help. Thanks

Never got a chance to put in my two cents on this: In a word, the show's GREAT. Only heard the first two hours before passing out, but from now on I'll be taping what I miss so I can hear it at a more reasonable hour. I like their honesty in saying their team, Liverpool, is crap this year. No nonsense. And they appear to be realistic and hard-nosed about MLS, but certainly not disrespecting it. Urging fans to support it, no excuse not to, etc. I want to thank "thekilmer" for starting this thread and tipping us all off to this much needed show. By the way, when is MSG bringing back the Metros Report? You'd think they'd do a monthly show, at least, during Jan, Feb, and March. What gives?
Tonights Show In Studio Arsenal Legend, Bob McNabb in studio with the F.A. Cup and Premier League Trophies. Interview with Sol Campbell and a feature interview with Everton's manager, David Moyes. As always, your calls and an entertaining show. Nick
I believe it was called "Beautiful Music" format. DJ was a Roberto Fergusoninho. They played Brasilian Music all day. Please try to keep up.
So, you guys willing to cover the lower leagues here in the States? You know, there are quite a few teams here in the NYC region alone that could be covered. Just a thought.....
If youre the Mark who called about the Metro-DC rivalry, you sounded pretty weak. When they asked "why the rivalry?", and got the answer, "well, because", it doesn't exactly reflect well on Metro support. I personally don't know why they're our rivals, other than proximity and their early dominance. Can anyone else shed some light? Any particular incidents that developed the rivalry? edit: no offence.
