I'd prefer to see just about anybody than Smith.

What's more important to the future of the franchise is winning. I don't give a f*ck how they market the club, if at all. Winning is the best marketing anyway.

Nor do I view it as an affront ("slap in the face"). That's just silly.

Its amazing you still have hope for the contrary.

Every year its the same stale story. At some point do you just say to yourself, this just aint gunna happen?

Smith is a better player than Borman. I am not even sure its all that close.

That said, Smith has been off to an awful start for us. He's been wasted space so far. He'll contribute eventually though. He's a solid role type player.

Isn't Carlos Johnson the starting right back? I think that Johnson is going to get most of the playing time there and Hall can take Khano's spot when he continues to suck.

A nice thought and yes it makes sense on many levels. However Osorio had a chance to do exactly that in Houston and what did he do? Started Smith and left mid. Hall didn't even dress! I don't even know if Hall plays left mid in practice. It's absurd.

It was reported that Hall was held out for personal reasons. Not Osorio's decision.
