rojas didn't do bad metz... he did alright but the reason is he can't get a hold of the ball alot cause red bulls style aint the most beutiful thing . he crossed perfectly for richards, he did some pretty good passes....... although i got to agreed that pietra did sht.....

Brilliant. This is why I love this beautiful game. We didn't really deserve to win but it's all about putting the ball in the net. "Chances" or hitting the post don't count. Goals do. We scored more than RSL tonight. Job done.

I think the altitude might have had something to do with the uberconservative 2nd half (ie willing to spend it all -energy wise- in 90 minutes, not risk it going 120 ) But luck was on our side, for sure...Now, as to the Crew: they are a team with no clear weakness..... do we play them head on? Counter? Bunker?!??! Osorio i think will have to make the team pick its spots, becuase the match will sure as heck be a tough one.....

BTW as to the CONCACAF qualification, do we go straight to the group stage? or must we play a preliminary match?

Ok, he give one good pass to Richards who lost a brilliant opportunity, Richards play very poor tonight, but I see Rojas loose more then five times the ball, unnecessary, and that was poor too....But Rojas I'm getting the habit of seen that, but Richards I don't know what was going on with him...But...

Awesome win, gritty dirty win for us but hey we got in.

hopefully this will shut some people up about what RB does for this team, if they haven't proved themselves enough, maybe these people should be rooting for a different team anyway.

And Lalas predicted Houston, Cobi Jones predicted RSL in the pre-game and he predicts Columbus in the post-game. I'll take our chances as the underdog. I can't believe this has happened. I'll be in LA next Sunday! Who else is going? Is there a section for Red Bulls fans?

he made the cross that lead to the goal......

the whole team did well but a stronger defense will be needed next year because 10 corner kicks is unacceptable for any team in any league.... have a decent striker and thats at least 3 goals

my daughter's u-11 team gets better trophies than this one, but in this case, size really doesn't matter!!!! OMG! WE WON! i could not stop laughing every time RSL hit the post - it was a hysterical kind of laugh, the kind they put you in the nuthouse for, but following this team is as close to crazy as you can get!
