Chivas is resting on its laurels after taking the lead, conceding the flow of the game to us.

Hey Chivas, that's our schtick, give it back!

These slow lofty crosses aren't working. How is that not obvious to this team?

For all that Claudio's supposed to bring it, it never seems like there's any leadership on the field.

Claudio is a f'in joke and Im tired of everyone who sticks up for him.

This is going to be one of those no effort 1-0 losses.

Man, when Mathis left the game, for a second I thought it was one of those deals where a guy tears his ACL and keeps playing for a little while before coming out of the game. Judging by where the ice is, it doesn't seem like it's his knee, but they just said it was a left knee contusion, so who knows. Hope it isn't too bad because RB need him.

You know I really didn't even want to watch tonight because I knew it was going to be extremely frustrating. I wonder why I never listen to myself.

Pretty much. Unless JPA pulls something out of his hat. We're lucky to have a gamebreaking player like him to rescue points in these situations.

I think this is going to be a carbon-copy of the Chivas home game.

Dominate large swathes of possession. Do very little with it. Then lose 2-0 because Leitch and Goldthwaite are humungous piles of monkey vomit.

    a) They miss Jozy a ton

    b) Reyna isn't pulling his weight at all. I had hope for him. But it's obvious that someone with his skill set should NEVER have been given a DP

    c) Our wing backs suck piles and piles and piles. Get your best four defenders out there. It's not like either Goldthwaite or Leitch are capable of pirating forward with strong runs, so why not put someone back here who can actually defend in one-on-one situations?

    so am I.

he NEEDS to be out on that field tonight. and I'm not even 100% sold on him

and it would be nice if DVB whipped in a cross instead of doing his Dave LaRoche imitation

Doe must not be in shape. The defending was horrendous again in the opening 10 minutes and Bornstein probably should have made it two within 10.

Remember how we started with Dunivant and Wynne?

It's kinda like that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry ends up trading his van for a used undershirt.

everything about this team seems so third rate right now. Enough of John Wolyniec already! I thought Claudio had played well over the past couple of weeks or so, but he is a complementary player who needs guys like Angel, Mathis, Altidore on the field with him. The DP slot should be for impact guys, which Claudio really isn't.

And how about the broadcasts of these road games? sticking the guys in a Manhattan studio? There is nothing Major League about that. I know that topic has been discussed ad nauseum in the past, but as someone who works in television, that drives me nuts. MSG used to cover the heck out of this team.

This is by far the best sub made by Brucy all year.
