Just got back from the Red Stars vs Washington game and we as CRS fans are very happy. The team looked good, they looked cohesive, organized and motivated. It rained early so the field was wet and ball was skipping especially in the first half. For the first time in many games we as fans felt confident that after going up 2-0 the Red Stars would hold on and win. Normally we're waiting for the hammer to drop and expecting for the opposition to score two goals to tie and then score the winning goal in extra time, like has happened before. But not today. Brooke Elby looks good folks and the CRS fans took notice immediately. We are glad she is in Chicago and like her a lot. Great pick-up Rory!
Asked Rose Lavelle yesterday after the game how she is feeling and she said good. She was in uniform but did not play.
