There's business news this week with the new investments on the west coast, see the general news and info thread for discussion.

Sportico published (behind paywall, chart below from Eben Novy-Williams on twitter) valuations for WNBA teams. NWSL teams were valued in October, Angel City tops the list with twice as much revenue as the next largest team in both leagues.

Angel City starts three teenagers and it pays off: Kennedy fuller's first goal and an Alyssa Thompson assist.

Gotham vs Washington and Portland vs KC on Sunday could really give us some serious insight. A Thorns win could signal a legit top 5 in the league that could all potentially win it all. Seems like the top of the table is as loaded as it's been in a while.

In a previous thread, I mentioned it looked like we had a top three and a chasing two. I think tonight pretty much solidified that.

We also now have a whopping 12pt gap between 3rd and 6th - and 12th place is only 1pt short of combining 13th + 14th. After last year's incredible parity, it seems the pendulum is swinging the other way this year with the top and bottom being quite spread out.

Mmm, you wrote that before having the final score of the Seattle-Louisville match that ended in a draw? :cautious: Because it seems to me that 12th place is two points short, and not just one, of equalling 13th+14th combined.

Regardless, the comment about the rankings having teams spread out this season is spot-on. :coffee:

KC continues to have the easiest schedule, but they're also getting the job done. Half the battle is beating teams you should beat. HFA stays steady at 0.078.
