I thought this was well known already? As for Jozy, of course I want him on Newcastle. I mean what would be better than seeing one of my favorite players move from my second favorite club to my favorite club
Blah I should have checked this thread before starting my own, but regardless I think it deserves its own thread
http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/7418174 Viduka is fit to play on Saturday. Any guesses on how much time he'll get against Sunderland?

Re: Glenn Roeder and now Matty Pattison This is like some bizarre Trojan horse scenario. Giant wooden Glenn Roeder wheeled into Carrow Road. And then proceeds to sign all of our s****. Clark, Pattison, Ameobi (Well, he tried). We might end up shot of Carr and Babayaro at this rate. Never would have thought it possible.
In other news Harry Redknapp was arrested today with four others in connection with the ongoing football corruption investigation being conducted by the London police. Meanwhile Jaypro is waiting for the other shoe to drop on Big Sam.
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp was among five people arrested Wednesday in an investigation into alleged corruption in English soccer, the Premier League club said. Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie was also arrested, the club said. British media identified the three others arrested as former Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric, who is currently chairman of Leicester, former club player Amdy Faye and his agent, Willie McKay. Redknapp arrested in corruption probe Maybe Souness is the next one?
Gotta love the media coverage. The headline boldly proclaims that Redknapp was "arrested", but the article goes on to explain that he was merely questioned and doesn't mention any arrest. Arrested means either being taken into custody and put in jail or having charges filed against you. It doesn't seem that either happened here. Looks like a case where the reporter wrote what he/she hoped was a fact filled article and then the editor decided to spice it up a little to get everyone's attention with the headline.
This is not the first time that I have seen this word seemingly misused in an article. I suspect that the term "arrested" may have a different connotation in the British legal system. It is also not unusual to hear about players being "jailed" over incidents, when in fact all that has happened is that they have been charged, booked, and released.
I read on Football365 this morning that they came to his home unannounced at 6am and took him down to the police station against his will. That sounds like an arrest to me.
Yeah, that would qualify as an arrest, although the cops would call that "investigative detention". Good general rule, though, if they show up and force you to go down to the station, its an arrest situation.
I just saw his interview from today on FSC. The police searched his house when he wasn't home and then asked him to come down to the station later on in the afternoon and answer some questions. So he wasn't exactly thrown in the back of a squad car.
Thanks for the service Baba (Kind of...I think?). Now you can take up space on someone else's roster.
Support the old Busker! Bring "Home Newcastle" to the Geordies and then forgotten, are we this kind of supporter? I think not. Check out this coold blog post about the old time Geordie singer and song writer Busker.
