We may be whores, but if you look at photo #80.. at least we got the...

    LOS AMIGOS BAR

right across the street. Top that, you grotty bastard!

Of course, it may be a From Dusk Till Dawn type of situation... but hey...

It's the Nats training centre, both MNT and WNT players and coaches will train and I think also player there as well...It's a really nice situation.

We can only hope for more to come in Dallas, and in Joisey pretty soon...hell I don't know the Dc situation but maybe there too.

I noticed that, if you go to the webcam it looks like they are putting it up.....I believe it's going over the stadium club, the jumbotron won't be going in for a while.

Is it just me or does the field part look extremely wide? Will the fans on the sidelines be close the the action or will they be so far away that you could actually stick a track in there?

And by the way what is the capacity expected to be?

And will the roof cover every side of the stadium or just parts?

From the pics that i saw i could not see a tunnel coming out near the center circle from the stands...Wasn't that in the original designs? I liked the idea of the team coming out from under the stands in the center of the field...what happened?

The fans will be very close to the action just about 12 feet, from what I've heard, on the sidelines.
Capacity this year will be about 24K but can be higher as they say they will be using the end with no stands for temp' bleachers as needed.
When the expansion is done with permanent seating in that end, the capacity will be about 27,500.
This image will help you on what the roof will look like.

I would guess the pitch will be 115x75 yards or perhaps 73-75 yards wide..
It would be silly to make a soccer specific stadium and not make a full sized pitch to go along with it so that's where my guess comes from. Haven't seen any concrete numbers on that though.

I hope they're planning on adding more bathrooms. One port-a-poddy might not be enough methinks (in the middle of the field no less  ). Also, the pitch looks like shite.
