Do any of you know here on campus that Wheaton plays their home games? The college team that I helped coach is playing Wheaton on Friday. Just wondering if on campus, in a stadium, etc. Any info would be great. Very limited internet access this week due to work in Rockford. Thanks.
Yes, they've got a soccer stadium right on campus (College Avenue). The Fire played a game there two years ago. It's a nice little field. It's right next to their larger football stadium.
They play on campus in a soccer specific stadium. It's next to the schools football stadium. I'm not sure the name of the street that it's on. But it's not a very big campus. Also the people of Wheaton are pretty friendly, so you should be able to get directions in town. Also you might want to try Wheaton's sports info dept. they would probably give the best directions.
Wheaton college has a lovely little stadium right on Campus. Seating on one side of the field, and train tracks on the other. It is right next to their football field on College Avenue. If you can get to campus, anyone can tell you where the soccer field is.
location The field is on College Ave about 100 yards west of President Street. You can get to President from Geneva Road or Roosevelt (Rte 38) depending on where you're coming in from.
