Pablo Aimar. I've always been a fan of his and started following Valencia soon after I saw him play. I like the fact that Valencia is not one of the two GIANTS in Spain, but they're still a quality side that plays good football. Guys like Vicente and Albelda are hard not to like, so I've grown to like the team.

    Casually for 3 seasons.

No, though I plan to go this fall (fingers crossed).

I follow Liverpool b/c the first team I ever played on, when I was four years old, was named after them. Been a fan ever since. When Benitez was signed, I had mixed feelings, seeing as how he was leaving one team I liked and joining another. Still, he's made being a 'Pool fan a LOT more fun and he's probably the classiest coach in football.

Yes, a generic home jersey my friend bought me in Costa Rica.

I support Valencia because of the counter attacking style of football they play in addition to the fact that I'm slightly contrarian - I can't justify supporting either Barca or Real Madrid. Additionally, many players such as Aimar, Vicente, Ayala, and now Villa have made it a team that is easy to cheer for. Have been following Valencia for about three years now and am particularly pleased that they have bounced back this year from what was a really off year last year. Would like to catch a match at the Mestalla next year or at least before it gets raised to the ground. Hopefully the proposed stadium will have such steep stands as the Mestalla does.

Also support AS Roma for about 4 years now, which probably has the most passionate if not somewhat insane fans, well some of them anyway, in Italy. They have the seeds for a great future sqaud in Mexes, Chivu, Mancini, DeRossi, and Perotta all built around Totti.

Have followed Valencia since 2001 because my mother-in-law is from Valencia and she raves about them. She says to me that her and her friends have a saying about Valencia that no matter how well they are doing that "It'll never last". All I can say to that is that since she became my mother-in-law, Valencia have won 2 La Liga titles and the UEFA Cup.
I have visited Valencia 5 times now and have got a football shirt each time.
    2001/02 Home
    2002/03 Home Aimar
    2003/04 Home Ayala
    2004/05 Home Vicente
    2005/06 Away Ayala
Will be going back in September for a week so hopefully get new shirt.

Have visited the Mestalla but not seen a match as yet.

Why do you support VCF and not another La Liga club?

Computer games. Seriously, I never knew that much about Los Ches until I played as them on FM05. That made me take an interest, and I started to like several of their players. It was a start and its just snowballed from there. And this was last year, when they looked like they were falling off a bit after winning the double, and I have a tendency to follow underdogs, which they started to look at that point.

What drew you to Valencia CF?

A bit of everything. The players, the history, and even the aura of the club. It just overall appealed to me more than any other Spanish club did.

How many years have you followed VCF?

Two years, I guess, though this is the first full year of really following closely. And I couldn't have asked for better circumstances, as they've outdone all expectations and thats always fun to watch.

Have you ever been to Valencia?

Nope. Hoping to visit next year.

Do you own any VCF kits? If so, which ones?

None yet. Hard to find over here in Canada.

What other clubs do you like or support + why?

Arsenal, my first soccer love. Valencia are unlikely to ever replace the Gunners in my heart, but they are a clear second for me.

Why do you support VCF and not another La Liga club?

David Villa is my favourite player, I like Aimar too. Real Madrid used to be my Spanish side but i do not like the way they were run. Valencia arent as big a side as Real Madrid or Barca yet they can still compete with them which is good.

What drew you to Valencia CF?

The players. I followed Spanish football ever since i was young, i've always had a soft spot for Valencia, but the capture of Villa did it for me.

How many years have you followed VCF?

I've followed them ever since i was about 10 (about 6 years?). I always followed the results of Barca, Real Madrid and Valencia. But i followed Valencia more seriously from the start of last season.

Have you ever been to Valencia?

Nope, i will when i'm older though, and it'll probably be the new stadium by then.

Do you own any VCF kits? If so, which ones?

Yes. I own the luminous orange away kit of a few seasons back, last years home kit and this years home kit has been ordered.

What other clubs do you like or support + why?

I support Sunderland. I always have and always will, they are the primary team i support no matter what. I've got a season ticket and attend some away matches too. Valencia are the Spanish team i follow, they should reamin to be aslong as they do not becone horribly comercialised like Real Madrid have, and aslong as the decisions of the club remain sensible, unlike what went on a Real with Florentino Perez refusing to spend decent money to buy defenders.

Why do you support VCF and not another La Liga club?

When you support barca or real, in england its common. But to go out and wear a valencia shirt is something different. The most important reason i support VCF more than any other spainish club is their power and will to win, it seems that where ever they go they manage to somehow silence the crowd.

What drew you to Valencia CF?

The city is beautiful and the people are all kind. But most of all the seasons and thrills they have had, not to forget there luck when it comes to english opposition.

How many years have you followed VCF?

4 years, but during the first two i didnt really follow their results.

Do you own any VCF kits? If so, which ones?

03/04 home Aimar 21 on the back
    04/05 home
    04/05 Third
05/06 home Baraja 8 on the back
05/06 away David Villa 7 on the back

What other clubs do you like or support + why?

My other club is West Ham, ive supported them for 8 years and i was influenced by my unlce and cousin. They are a london team so i often go to their home games and just a few away games.

I was dating a girl this time last year who had to go and live in Valencia for a year and study. i fell in love with the city, and the team from there. i had never really been interested in la liga before then, but now i prefer it to the premiership!

What drew you to Valencia CF?
like i said, the city.. and the amazing kit!

How many years have you followed VCF?
coming up to my first year anniversairy soon :)

Have you ever been to Valencia?

Do you own any VCF kits? If so, which ones?

Why do you support VCF and not another La Liga club?

I fell in love with a girl from Valencia. She actually lived across the street from Mestalla. So when I moved there to be with her, I also fell in love with the team.

What drew you to Valencia CF?

Their style of play, their grit, the passion of their fans and the great city.

How many years have you followed VCF?

    Almost 5 years now.

Have you ever been to Valencia?

Yes. I lived there and have been to many games. I've actually met some of the players! Canizares in particular is a wonderful guy.

Do you own any VCF kits? If so, which ones?

Too many to list. My favorites are the 2001 CL Final kit and the 2004 orange. Oh, and the senyera.

What other clubs do you like or support + why?

No one else. Just Valencia. Better that way. AMUNT!!
