sorry for the non-futebol material, but i don't think any torcedor de futebol brasileiro will be too upset if i forward this link from Globo.

Cool..what night(s) did you go with Timbalada? I was with them for the last night (terca). This was my second year doing at least one night with them, and it is always the best and most energetic of blocos. It's hard to describe to people who don't know, but the vibe there is better than any other I've been part of. Maybe we unkowingly saw each other.

Did them all 3 nights....I prefer staying with one bloco because by third night you feel like you know everyone....and the girls get friendlier!

I'm just upset my flights got delayed and I missed Ile Aiye's ensaio out of Liberdade.

    Re: Timbalada

That's not a bad strategy. As for me, I go to Carnaval with my wife, so getting the ladies to warm up to me is not much of a priority (If only I had come to Bahia when I was a single man...). All my beijos come from the same source.

Also, we always have a load of people come and stay with us, so we invariably go for the broad view and mix up various blocos and camarotes, so people can see everything that goes on across the city. We did catch Ile Aiye, with Caetano chanting/singing, on the Avenida on segunda from our camarote.

To prevent from going any further off topic, I'll try and PM you a picture of our crew from the last night of Timbalada to see if you recognize any of us.

I know you guys won't object if I split and merge some of your posts to the Carnaval thread here. :)
