Saw that he has resigned to move to Philly, so I was curious if anyone had thoughts on who will replace him. I really have no idea who would be on the horizon, hopefully not Elligenger or Hackworth, I would like some new blood. sorry if this is posted and i just missed it.
There's a thread on Nowak's resignation on the USA Men N&A Forum: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1047591 I guess we could talk here about the 2012 U23/Olympic Team implications, but that team was almost certain to have a different coach even had Nowak made it all the way through the 2010 WC cycle alongside Bob Bradley.
Is it possible he resigned because the team will no longer need to be in existence, as the Olympics are now going to be a U21 tournament with no overage players? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=651043&sec=england&cc=5901
It's possible. It's also possible that the press conference he held in Philadelphia the other day also had something to do with it.
