Never went under the ink myself, many many of the lads did.It was strange as when i was in the Army it was the thing to do and when i went down to Dublin and skiped off to Fishguard to catch a train for the home games-when i could-the first thing me mates used to do was slag me off fiercely for not geting one. Tattoos-white t-shirts-denim jackets/jeans-dr Martens.....all were the flavour of the crowd in my day. He is typical of that era.
