This will be the beginning of the end of Frank Lampard's career at Chelsea.

The drivel that's been posted in here....

Frank's going nowhere - NOT to Barca and not downhill.

well, he has been linked with barca, but the career bit was a joke. lol, how the hell can a mid who has scored 20 goals in a season get overlooked ;)

Frank wouldn’t fit in with the culture at Barca – after all he doesn’t like to cheat, dive or spit at the opposition:p

I hate the Chelsea and wish that Ballack had stay in Germany for longer. Or a least for a good English like Man Utd

I think people need to realize it's a free transfer. I'm not the biggest fan of the move (have you seen Essien the last month?) but there's this is actually one thing that shouldn't bring up Chelsea hate.

It's probably 'cause BBC reported the wrong story (Again) and changed the link to avoid further emberassment.

Heh. Whoops for the BBC. Oh well, it seems more or less inevitable, but then again, that's been said before.

Ballack will be lucky to get a game for Chelsea. No one will take Lampards place in the squad,so I really question this move from Ballacks stand point. I guess he must need the extra money.

Harsh, but I can see your point. It should be obvious to anyone that there is room for both Lampard AND Ballack in Chelsea's current playing styles/formations.

For some unknown reason, probably because I briefly lived in Germany a long, long time ago, my family bought me a replica "Ballack" German national team uniform for Christmas last year.

This year, I think I will ask for an "Henry" France shirt...or maybe Gallas. ;)

I think, if I heard correctly on the news, Ballack has been given number 13 (Gallas' number) soooooo it seems he is off then.
Sorry if this has been posted somewhere above or in another thread btw
