The following e-mail was sent earlier today. I will post an answer as soon as I get one. We've been getting a lot more reports on the DC plan than the NOVA plan. #1 Stunna ------------------------ My name is Jason Adolf, and I run a website that represents DC United fans that are concerned about how baseball will affect the future of our soccer team. Does your plan call for using RFK stadium for the team while you build a new ballpark? How long would you expect the team to share RFK stadium with DC United? There have been rumors that the DCSEC/DC Government plan would include building United a stadium in lot 8 at RFK if baseball relocated to DC. It was stated at the public meeting that the two teams would only share RFK for 1 year and DC United could move into a home in 2005. Has your group thought about this issue of sharing RFK? As most home DC United games are Saturday nights, have you considered how the scheduling issues would be worked out? We are looking at both proposals to see which one works best for our club, and if the NOVA plan offers better benefits for United, then we would certainly like to help your cause. Any information you can provide would be helpful. We appreciate your time and cooperation. Thanks, Jason www.dcunitedstadium.com
