Beating a team twice in a single season is difficult; beating them thrice?...Really difficult. God, I hope we go to semis, but it will very difficult. I predict America will make it to semis. I hope to hell...as well, that that does not happen but probabilities are as such. However, I can't wait to see this America open up real wide for my Chivas. In the league, Ambriz could not open up; in la copa, La Volpe was afraid to open up. He knows about our speed, so I wonder if he is smart/dumb enough to open up. I just hope they do not score first, because La Volpe would love to not give us space and release the counter instead--it's safer. If we score first...uff. Open them cheeks.
Any one else sh*t bricks when Salcido stepped up to the pk? We've been allowing America to play their game and we can't afford to keep Gullit receiving the ball with his back to the porteria. He loses every other ball that's meant for him since he doesn't go meet it. That colmillo tho, but not sure it's enough to play another whole half.
Need to see more from our wingers and Orbelin next time. Also need our outside backs to defend better.
Tomorrow I better not see Gulit as a starter. He sucks shit. I want to see Chofis in that mofo. I think that the fact that Gulit started was the reason the wingers were nonexistent. Granted, the mids didn't have a stellar game; but if we have Chofis in there, I think that chain reaction will fix the foibles up front we had on Thursday.
I tend to lead the Gullit hate train but he didn't look too bad if I'm honest....I do prefer la Chofis in there though.
Agree Gullit actually had a pretty decent game Thursday. At least better than his usual performances. But I rather see Chofis as well or maybe even Zaldívar

Gullit is killing about half of the plays and then does something half decent...he needs to be subbed IMO..he's starting to lose the plot...Salcido had an excellent 1st half.
