Last night Marcel Matis of Cincinnati received a red card for a vicious tackle from behind against the Timbers' Brent Sancho. After being sent off the pitch, he went in to the locker room to change out of his uniform. A couple of minutes later he came back out and tried to sit on the bench with his teammates. His coaching staff immediately made him leave so he decided to take a seat in the stands only a few sections over from the die hard Timbers fan area known as the shed. This didn't sit too well with the Timbers fans and they made their feelings crystal clear. One fan however decided that this wasn't enough and proceeded to get right up in Mathis' face. The piece of paper in Timber fan Chris' hand is a card that is yellow on one side and red on the oher. Chris put the red card right in his face and ever so gently informed the good Mr. Matis that if he wanted to sit in the stands and watch the game then he would have to buy a ticket just like the rest of us. At least that's what I imagine he said as the shouts and insults erupting from the shed made it impossible to hear what was actually being said. Eventually security made their way up to the honorable Mr. Matis and escorted him off the field.

Due to the overwhelming support and love for the last episode of "Tales from the shed", here is a link for last nights installment. http://www.soccercityusa.com/bbs/messages/186.html

"Excuse me sir but I do belive you received a red card."

"Perhaps you need a reminder of what a red card looks like."
