All, if you happen across a subject like promotion and relegation in MLS, or switching seasons to match Europe, or any other of a host of topics you consider very old hat on BigSoccer - and the thread is here in MLS: Fans - don't slam the thread starter or anyone else. This is essentially the "safe zone" to discuss Old Topics that might not be what posters in the MLS: General and MLS: News & Analysis forums want to discuss. Let new posters/recent fans have a place to discuss such topics - joined by anyone else genuinely interested in the topic, of course. Carry on!
better yet, how about a thread entitled "warning: threads about relegation, switching season, aging eurpean players coming to MLS and other overdone topics"- a "read before you post" thread.
