A brace of beauties, and both outside of the box, please:

Yuito Suzuki is on fire with 5 goals and 4 assists in the last 5 games. They are top of the league now, another contender for a trophy this season ! Sometimes a weird transfer, especially after leaving Strasbourg, can reveal the best in a player. Denmark must be a nice place to live in.

Yuki Soma scored, by the way I would say this season is something like his breakout season.

In 30 games till now Soma scored 5 goals + 3 assists. And thats in a strong league like the portugiese league. Dont like him but thats not bad.

Appears that Suzuki had been scouted by many PL clubs, including Spurs, Pool and Man U.

Seems like Matsuda played the entire 120 minutes, checked and seems like he played decently this season.

Perhaps he can consider a move if there are clubs in Bundesliga 2. interested in him as he might have the necessary to play in a team in the 2nd division rather than the 3rd division.

What the hell? He played a really solid season, his best of his carrer, is getting into the pool of the JNT again and now heading back? What are the reasons?

I think it's fairly simple, a club like Casa Pia, like most small portoguese clubs, lives on free agents mostly. Such clubs usually can't even spend a million for a transfer, and mo way Nagoya would've sold him for <500k.

I'd be surprised if his agent was that inept to not know this, so I would imagine he gambled on being able to propose the player to other clubs based on the player's performances.

Yeah thats a reason maybe. He was by far the most expensive player at the club rate by marked value when I am not wrong.

Thank you, I was too lazy to do my research lol.
Also, same competition, Gent played and Watanabe was on the pitch the whole game. Exact opposite for Schmidt who stayed on the bench.

Hehe its ok. So many teams qualifying, interesting also.

Good thing is Suzuki is still going strong. I believe he had 2 assist also in the first league game of the season.

Takayuki Seto, legend of Romania, finds himself a new club in romanian 2nd divison side FC Argeș. Didn't really needed a post about it but I have too much respect for his career, from joining Romania's 3rd division to play the Europa League as a captain, with the same club.

Best wishes to him, at 38 yo.

His thread is locked so, here I'll post: Kaishu Sano has been freed and will finally join Mainz as they are waiting for him.

Last year, Dutch international Anwar El-Ghazi was fired from Mainz because he showed support to Palestine...
