Conservatives would beat him, arrest him, and sentence him to a life of torture in a gulag for being a wandering brown immigrant.

Some absolutely fantastic race baiting fanfic here.

No wonder Dems are wandering the wilderness looking for a coherent message and screeching about racism while Latinos continue to drift to the right.

I was told by the local Whites here that Jesus looked like either Gregg Allman or Eidur Gudjohnsen, depending on whether you're Protestant or Catholic

Then choose a deadlier vice to go with it. I say that knowing full well I can make that call because I'm under 200 pounds, but I don't know your situation.

I'm tobacco free four years now after 35 addicted. I still drink beer and liquor, and I smoke weed. My diet includes beef, pork, and seafood/shellfish in whatever quantity I decide to ingest that meal, along with sweets and soft drinks. Life's going to be too short no matter what pleasures I give up in hopes of extending it.

I don't much care for cuisine (as discussed in the food thread), but I do love food.

My point is that a sketchy term like "migrant" can be replaced by "citizen" if that's what they are. Nobody referred to the Nazis that came to the US under Operation Paperclip as "migrants".

And the press calling the Boers "refugees" kind of suggests that they're leaving because of some mistreatment. They overstayed the welcome they were not given to begin with. They really should go back to the Netherlands and get over themselves. That your country doesn't want them really isn't reason to have them coming over here raping Black women and asking Black men for their papers.

Categorizing people according to how long their bloodline has been in a country shouldn't be done.

Have you met any Southern Baptists?

  14. I've no clue what you're ranting about.
I reacted to your post and it's you who used the term migrants in relation with the Orange Squad.
So what you post in reaction to my post baffles me.
Nothing in your post has anything to do with what I posted.
I don't even know what you're posting about.

If you think I'm ranting, you're not up to the task of a convo. We're cool, I'm just not ready to do all that translating to someone for whom English is not a first language.

I'm Southern and Baptist! So is about 35% of my extended family (the rest are United Methodist)

No, I know you mean the White ones. They're a whole different Convention, and yes, they are dangerous to anyone who isn't in their very small tent. I tend to think of conservative churches as political organizations first and spiritual ones second. They have no ties to any God I'd take advice from, let alone worship.

  17. You plunked alot in your post that had zero relation to what I posted and it has nothing to do with translating, but simply content I've no clue what that was about.
I understand every word of what you posted, but what it is all about and what it has to do with my post, eludes me.

It had nothing to do with you. I was quoting the limey who first used the term "migrant" when he could just as easily have said, "No Black Dutch were on the 19xx team". Your post was quoted ONLY because superdave needed to have the entire situation explained to him like he was a child.

You just happened to be the person I initially asked about Black Dutchmen on the team. HE was the one who commented first.

  20. Ah, okay.
Anyway it's almost always foreigners talking about black etc. players on the Orange Squad.
Not that racist remarks were unknown. Our first Surinam player in our league, Humphrey Mijnals, is said to have been adressed by one of our footballlegends Abe Lenstra with hateful remarks: Abe Lenstra kwam met vreselijke teksten: “Vuile vieze zwarte, ga terug naar je land.”=
Abe Lenstra came up with terrible texts: "Dirty dirty black, go back to your country."
In contrast with the Dutch press and eventually the football fans, who loved his virtuosity.

Abe Lenstra? Have not heard of him. May not be as legendary as his conservatism. But as always, better the ones you know.

    Love!

    Marty on FAFO:

You are such an accursed, ungrateful wretch that you will not give a child into training for the maintenance of the gifts of God. You have everything, all of it free of charge; yet you show not a particle of gratitude. Instead you let God's kingdom and the salvation of people's souls go to ruin; you even help to destroy them. Ought not God to be angry over this? Ought not famine to come? Ought not pestilence, flu, and syphilis find us out? Ought not blind, fierce, and savage tyrants come to power? Ought not war and contention arise? Ought not evil regimes appear in our lands? Ought not our enemies plunder us? Indeed, it would not be surprising if God were to open the doors and windows of hell and pelt and shower us with nothing but devils, or let brimstone and hell-fire rain down from heaven and inundate us one and all in the abyss of hell, like Sodom and Gomorrah.

The man had a way with words, that’s for sure.

Better user of language, Martin Luther, or Martin Luther King Junior? Only folks fluent in modern English (I’ll stop the world and melt with you) and medieval German (strangely, no mid 80s pop group with that title) can answer.

Oh man I gotta bookmark that page…you never know when a phrase like “your post is a ‘bilgewater of heresies’” might come in handy.

I like the repetitive redundancy of “you abominable abomination” too

I’m saving “you are the scum of all scoundrels” for a special occasion.

And yeah, the deeper I delve, “I have a dream” is great and timeless and all, but srsly, it can’t compete with “you are the scum of all scoundrels.” And there are some much better, but I’m too lazy to type any of them out, which I’m sure there’s a great insult for lazy bastards like me in there somewhere.
