Their spicy pepperoni pizza with honey drizzle was awesome. Tonight, I tried their cheeseburger and fries. It was good, but the pizza was better.

Meaning, like, Christ can’t possibly live up to the greatness that is Trump?

    • What does it mean that Jesus was God's only son?
    • If 23 of Jesus's chromosomes came from Mary, where did the other 23 come from?
    • Was it his DNA that made Jesus god? If so, does God have DNA?
    • What does it mean to be made in God's image?

It's amazing how when you view these questions in the context of the biblical culture(s) and their understanding of how nature works (their cultural worldview), they make complete sense and are easy to understand and explain.

When you view these questions with a modern understanding of how nature works (ignoring the ancient Mesopotamian / Levantine understanding of the supernatural), they are "mysteries" that cannot be explained and we just have to accept what the Bible, completely divorced from its cultural context, says based on our modern interpretations, once again completely divorced from the cultural context.

Birds, with their bird brains, can also use tools. I don't remember specifics, but I remember watching something about crows (or a member of that family) using a stick to get something that required multiple steps. They also will use cars to break nuts open, dropping the nut in traffic so that cars will run over them when the light is green, then when the light is red they'll collect their prize.

    Just figuring that out?

Was it the cheating with a porn star, fraud, multiple marriages, lying, or something else?

Yup, it was crows. They were given an if-then task to get some food that involved a fake, which the passed on the first attempt.

The Columbus Zoo has trained a Cravin (cross breed Crow/Raven) to pick up trash and put it in a trash receptacle.

    Very smart birds.

There’s plenty of conjecture that brain size is secondary to actual synapses/connections. Birds, because of their requirement to fly and be lightweight, have super-efficient brains with tons of connections. There’s no reason to think they wouldn’t be able to be as smart as any other mammal.

OK, let's be clear, you totally missed the point in that other thread. You need to go back and reread the summary I made and the summary soccernutter made of what I wrote. If you are incapable of reading, then shut the ******** up with this. At this point you are demonstrating a complete unwillingness to understand what I wrote, why I wrote it and the implications of what I wrote. You are part of the problem, not the solution.

FFS, show some decency. At this point you are no different than superdave or marek, intentionally unwilling to understand and deliberately misrepresenting. In other words, you are trolling. You are better than that.

And let's not forget Biden is a devout Catholic. But yes, traditionally the more fundamentalist side of Christianity doesn't include Catholics or Mormons as Christian. One of the "classic" books on the view of Catholicism is "The Two Babylons" by A. Hislop. It presents the view that Catholicism is the Babylon of the Book of Revelation.

Here is your decency. I am sorry to you and all for dragging a topic from one thread to another. I hate when people do that so I apologize for doing that. That is all I will say on the matter.

Maybe next time you should start with decency instead of finish with something akin to it.

Thank you for that at least. But it nonetheless misses the target. You deliberately misrepresented what I wrote, even though it was repeatedly explained to you. That is not ok and your "statement" does not suffice in addressing that. Why do think Christians do not understand atonement? Is it because the religion produces people who do not understand basic decency? No wonder Jesus's followers are a scourge on this land right now.

I’m curious…do you ever entertain the possibility that maybe your viewpoint isn’t correct? That maybe the other person in an argument isn’t evil, but merely inconveniently correct?

I guess I’d consider it progress if you could get to the level where you think people you disagree with just have a different perspective or different priorities.

That’s one part of your fundamentalist upbringing you’ve retained: a Manichean world view
