Well, you're not alone. I got this PM from scaryice the other day: BTW, I'm moving this thread over to our light-hearted/random thoughts/quarrelling forum, "MLS Fans".
I have never cared much for scaryice either. He doesn't get the point of a message board (like 80% of the other BS users too). They want a place where they can come and everyone will agree with them 100% of the time, and when someone doesn't agree they blast them. Scaryice also likes to pass out neg rep everytime you disagree with him, which isn't at all what it is there for.
I'm honored that you felt the need to start a thread about this. I rated it five stars. The funniest part of our pm conversation was when I pointed out that your math was faulty, and you responded by saying that you major in mathematics. Dude, you're 18 years old. You must've really learned a lot in one week of college. You got negative rep for repeatedly saying that attendance figures are inflated and not the same as people in the seats. EVERY SINGLE WEEK you felt the need to say that.
If you bothered to read my replied PM, you would have noticed that YOUR math was faulty. 27 out of 100 games were affected from OT, according to your calculations. That's a lot! Dude, I've taken math courses at college for over two semesters now. I took 2 at WSU, and now I'm up at KSU. Need any further explanation ... ?
I didn't realize that stating the truth was a reason to get neg repped. Sorry I will try to start posting crap, like you. If people wouldn't argue the fact that teams are padding attendance then I wouldn't repeat it. It isn't like there hasn't been many published articles about this fact, but BS posters still can't accept the fact that MLS likes to report fake attendances.
It is funny that you say that because I checked in my rep log and for some reason you felt it necessary to neg rep me for this post from another thread awhile back about whether MLS should show the teams records in W-L-T or W-D-L format. I got 4 positive reps from other posters, and only one neg rep.....and guess who it was from.....yep you guessed it, scaryice.
I look at my control panel, I get nothing but positive rep. People really like me. Except for this one loser...I can't seem to make out the name, I think it rhymes with "fairy mice."
