I like Norway's chances for the World Cup this time around. Italy may be the favorite in Group 5, but traiditonally Norway has always given the Italians a tough match. Aside from that, I think Slovenia, Scotland, Belarus, and Moldova are all beatable for the Norwegians. But I don't really know much about any of those teams either. So do you guys think Norway will make it to their 4th World Cup in 2006, or is this group harder than it appears?

Things definitely look brighter for us now compared to any time over the last 4 years. A new coach has taken over and we have four wins in a row now (Hong Kong, Sweden, Honduras and N.Ireland).

Our group looks tight behind Italy, but we should be able to snatch that runner-up position before Scotland or Slovenia. I'm optimistic for the first time since the late nineties.

Things have certainly gotten more exciting around the Norway camp. It was a disaster when Semb's contract was renewed, but that is the past I guess. I honestly think it will be disastrous if at least a play-off spot is reached and honestly this team has no business NOT qualifying for the World Cup.

We'll see though. The ball is round and after that there are few certainties.

I think Norway have a good chance of making it through the qualifying rounds, although there is always that chance that things can go wrong!!!

I still can't believe Norway is not in Euro 2004.

The team as definately improved and lets hope they continue to do so.

    GO NORWAY!!!

Yeah good point, this team has the ability to do well, but always seems to miss the big one, by underperforming at the most critical times!!
