Depnds on some facotrs. 1. Weather 2. Your team-good, bad, or ugly 3. The other teams 4. Supporters In some friendlies I had 100 people show up and recently I have been getting 1-2000k people showing up. Just takes time really.
It depends on many factors. But between two US teams, both in V and VI, I wouldn't expect much beyond maybe 2K or so. And usually it will be much lower, like under a thousand. The key to higher attendance in friendlies is to have a higher level team visit the lower level team and to schedule internation friendlies. Don't take it as an insult that no one is showing up for your friendlies.
Ouch. that is harsh. had the host lost a few games? That would be a logical conclusion for that low an attendance.
Last year when I was in VI my home friendly attendance topped out at a little over 1300. I also got crowds of about 1270, 800, and 500.
Here have been my recent friendly attendances (most recent first): home vs team from Poland: 1237 home vs team from Poland: 2084 home vs team from Japan: 2602 away vs team from Finland: 631 home vs team from Nigeria: 1002
If there's not something to bring people in (e.g. a higher-division foreign squad), in good conditions I think the rule of thumb is somewhere in the ballpark of your supporter club size (although I think it probably runs a bit higher than that).
My last 5 friendly crowds have been 2772 (International away) 598 (International away) 2208 (Internation away) 2231 (Same Country away) 982 (Same Country Home)
