(OK, that just means "loyal", but the idea of something like that hanging on a banner makes me giggle. It's like watching opening day baseball!) Sweet. I have to be honest - as a name for the corner area of the stadium, I love Nordecke. I actually rather like how the Fire fans have organized - there are a bunch of groups that all sit in Section 8. This allows for individual groups with their own flavor and own internal "politics" to unite in one area of the stadium with one goal. So don't say stuff like "we are" the Nordecke, say "this is" the Nordecke.
lol if ultra can do a mark up in black and yellow for hardcore or loyal in japanese I'll put it on the right bar like a few others. I'll put that new Never Back Down one up as well.
I personally LOVE the name Nordecke, like everyone is saying it doesn't show sides and represents us all as a whole! My club Allen County Hooligan Union would be glad to scrape some money together to contribute to this sign, just let us know how. We are Columbus and We are NORDECKE!!! GO CREW!

I Love it! I mean it some ways the Soviets were all about the people and the every day workers much like the Crew. So in some way if people associate the star with the Soviets there is a way to defend it. But I love the name Nordecke and I think we need a banner NOW! Maybe a way to UNITE the groups!!! GO CREW!
In their propaganda they were "all about" the working class. In practice? Not so much. What's more interesting to me is the art style. I love the art style. Especially the modernist ones.
Unless you guys want to send a Workers Party kind of message, tho, I'd ditch the hammer and sickle. Actually, TheOtherBastard's brother did some great old artwork along these lines back in the day. I don't have any digital copies of the stuff, tho, and don't know where to find it.
