I'm in favor of the name. It fits and is correct since there is a "sharp corner" right in front of the section.
From what I gather most people dont dislike the name but are unsure of how other are going to understand its meaning. to be honest i had no idea untill like yesturday.
I would like to think that it would be a way to spread the word about the corner, but then again, I just work here.

That's great and all, but none of the current groups use that name so a lot of people would be wondering "who the hell is that?" Besides, the F*re use that name for one of their groups and they're pricks.
I know none of the groups use it and the fire might also but Ultra is just another term for hardcore fan but i see you're point I might cook up something else that uses Nordecke instead of Ultras any thoughts on the design? anything to change or that you'd like to see? Like the star? want the logo instead? etc.
Just change it to nordecke to the left. Or we are the supporters. Although I don't like the "we are" because I think most people could just figure out that it's the f'in supporters without having it pointed out to them. lol. I was also thinking of another sign idea. A big black cloth sign with yellow bubble letters saying, "Bad Boys Yellow." Similiar to the Bad Blue Boys in Dinamo Zagreb.
Maybe. Red Stripe makes socio-political distinctions a little harder to articulate... but I'll be damned if I didn't spell articulate right on the first try....

That is sweet! I am not sure how it could be implemented into something graphical, but since the Crew's mantras seem to have to do with work and such, but I like the Latin saying, "Sine labore nihil" (Nothing without work) as it pertains to the Crew.
