At the general meeting, was something mentioned about the tailgates changing? I know the time in the north lot is limited, but can't remember exactly what I heard about tailgating for 2025. Thanks in advance.
Until announced otherwise, tailgates are the same. A tailgate is being planned for Crewsmas and they'll keep planning them game by game like usual. Eventually the lot will be zoned off for development but there's no timetable on when that will happen. It could be sometime during the season or not until 2026-27.
Important stuff from today's email: 2025 Nordecke Memberships go live at 12:00am midnight February 6. Single-match tickets go on sale soon. Nordecke members will have access for seven days before remaining stock is made available to the public. Two fundraisers for CRIS Ohio's $100k in 100 Days campaign as well as the Kaleidoscope Youth Center general fund. On Crewsmas morning at the toast, donuts and coffee will be available. There'll also be a post-toast run.
The Nordecke season kickoff is Monday 1/17 at the River Club from 6-8. One ticket per season seat. Look for an email with more details.
They haven't forgotten about the membership items. They're currently being sent to Columbus. https://www.facebook.com/share/199UnLSeqh/
For those who are interested: The Cinci ticket lotto is coming in the next 1-2 weeks. There will be a down-and-back bus as well as group rates for hotels. All Crew fans are invited for the hotel rate, the bus or both. Saturday 7/12 at 7:30. The info will be posted here: www.nordecke.com/product-category/norontour
Once again, the creative geniuses continue to raise the bar. Is the checkerboard pattern just in the hood or the whole thing?
I couldn't tell based on the photo, but it's a sun shirt and now I'm tempted. ...which probably means I'll end up buying one.
Cincinnati NorOnTour tickets are $96 this year. The tit for tat gouging that FCC and Crew are doing for these games is insanity. Hopefully the Nordecke Board uses their standing to remind Glessing and Co of the purpose of away ticket allocations. It shouldn't cost a Benjamin to sit in the "affordable" section for a regular season match.
Has anyone looked at the history of who has the first home game in the series each season? Likewise, is it always alternating? If one side does it, certainly that gives motivation for the other side, right? Maybe the people who buy on their own are on to something. If we have the home game twice in a row...but then again, if the Crew FO charged $45, you damn well know they'd still charge ridiculous prices.
Cincinnati hosted first every year until the past two. Around 2022 is when FCC started to pull bullshit. They jacked up away ticket prices, broke up the away section, put home fans in the visitor sections, enforced assigned seating, etc....only for Columbus. Every other visiting team gets normal GA seating at reasonable pricing. It keeps getting escalated. The Crew aren't blameless but it started because of FCC's bush league tactics.
