I often want to start soccer related threads which have nothing to do with the MNT, MLS, MetroStars, etc. but have more to do with the area I live (NYC). For instance - -I recently started a team and was looking for players in the area. -I have a young son, and would like some suggestions on places I can take him to play on the weekend or good Soccer Camps he can go to in the summer. -I wanted to know how to go about reserving a city soccer field for a practice. I guess, what I'm looking for is something like a NYC General soccer discussion board. Thanks.
Have you asked the Metro mods if they mind posting OT threads? I bet they won't mind an OT thread or two about pick-up games, etc. and it's probably the best place to get an answer.
i dunno how it works in MLS but on the womens forms the fan clubs page is where that type of general disscussion goes...i believe the MLS boards have something similar...if not...it could be a good idea...i crawl back into my WUSA hole now.
