I give the Germans about an 80% chance of advancing.

That's pretty high. I'd go with closer to 60-65%.
However, it will happen eventually, if not this year, in France overtaking Germany in a major tournament.
France will take that torch away from Germany either this year, 2017 Euro, 2019 WWC, or 2021 Euro.
It'll happen over the next few years, and then France will not relinquish in being UEFA's new #1 world power.

It will probably be a team like Netherlands or Spain imo.

I'm not as convinced. I'm predicting a France win tomorrow.

Yup. Germany are under extreme pressure but the french are probably sipping wine, strumming some guitar ballads and singing songs right now. They will be sharp and ready by gametime. France 3-2 Germany .

Yeah, I hear ya. This has the potential to be a great, great match. With the German on-ball pressure out front and in the midfield.......their back five haven't exactly been severely tested yet. Maybe we see that today.

For my money, the two best/impressive players of the Tourney so far have been Mittag and Le Sommer.

Wow, I just realized that both Quarters will be shown on the big FOX network today. Good they should be.

Massey Ratings has the odds at about 58%-42% that Germany will advance.

(48% win percent for Germany, 31% win percentage for France)

    Ha! No kidding.

Well, they were beat on that chance from Necib. If she had placed it just a smidgeon right...

    LOLwut?

France is really going to kick themselves if Germany come out strong in the 2nd half. There were like 3 goals they should have buried.

Nacib's corners and free kicks are a thing of beauty.

Wow. So lucky for Germany, especially since their handball in the box wasn't called in the 1st half.

The other missed handball violation against Germany in the box during the first half may loom large.

Ugh shameful dive in the box by France. Embarrassing.
