Damn I hope so. He is also 18 so he should get more physically mature, maybe quicker.

We know that Poch likes him. Already called him up once and praised him.

Per Google relative to the Bundesliga - "A player's role is a crucial factor in evaluating speed. A speed of 32.29 km/h would be considered very good for a center-back or holding midfielder, but unremarkable for a winger or striker."

for sure. i think he looks quicker than brooks, but this is the closest measurement that we would have on anything related to his pace.

Probably because center backs and holding kids never get an opportunity for long runs in space to test their speed. Maybe sometimes marking ....

As a parent, I'll say that holding kids definitely means they won't ever reach their top speed.

Didn't watch the game but Banks got a Kicker rating of 3.0 (1.0 good, 6.0 bad) and fotmob rating of 7.3 (10 good, 1 bad). Augsburg lost 3:2 away at Stuttgart.

3.0 in a losing effort is a good rating

Augsburg win with a clean sheet 1-0 and were down a central defender from the 81st minute. Banks goes the distance.

Feeeman's goal was a result of a caught in transition moment after an attacking set play. He happened to be at the top of the 18 when the ball turned over.

I was thinking more about the long runs that he was making from a RCB position. He saw open field and push the ball all the way to the opponent's 3rd before finding a teammate to pass to.

Usually doubtful at least at first as most managers are very conservative and more likely to play older veterans. If he does stay asa starter it will be a real plug for his quality to have two managers in a row play such a young center back.

It also depends on whether the new manager stays with a 3CB backline. He has looked the part as an outside CB but played poorly in limited reps in a 2CB setup.

That's pretty normal for a CB that young. And since the US is mostly playing a two back set where the right back plays as the third defender a lot it may explain why hasn't been called in lately. I know Poch talked him up but a coach can both like what he sees and also wish the player was more experienced.

Nah... Hannover could call The Mayor. Hannover brought in 16 new players and a new manager, Christian Titz (good friends with Thomas Dooley), in an ambitious promotion push. They are sitting 4th (4 points from top) and fans and management are reportedly getting antsy due to money spent. If they get too antsy.... Dolo is a phone call way now. :D
