Does every relationship have to be transactional? We're in a world of hurt if it does.

Has only played a total 45' in the last three games, and got a 5.2 to boot in that appearance. Has he lost his spot?

I called him a risky player, and I certainly stand by that now. This string is not surprising, the risks were there if you were open to seeing them. Long term this benching may not mean much, but these bumps in the road were fairly inevitable.

Banks remains on the bench, as he continues to recover from Großer-Kopf-Syndrom.

Had to look that one up. I giggled.

Dude has played 45 minutes in the last 7 games. Karma is a bitch.

Quite possibly, but Transfermarket indicates otherwise:

Squad: 30, Starting eleven: 20, Substitutions on: 2, On the bench: 8, Suspended: 1, Injured: 0, Absence: 0

That doesn’t mean Banks hasn’t been injured, though I doubt the Bundesliga allows teams to ‘hide’ injured players on the bench (for weeks on end).

More reasonably, Banks was benched after a poor performance v Stuttgart, where he was pulled at HT down 0-3 in a 2-5 loss. He hasn’t played since.

Again, you may be correct and Banks has some physical limitation that prevents him from playing, but then he should not be on the bench, pretending to be ready for for action.

He has an ankle injury. Not only is he injured, but I can tell you where it is. He wasn't benched, he was/is INJURED

I don't understand refuting easily verifiable information. He's had a single poor half of minutes in the last two months. Every single other minute of game time he has been sitting as a game day player on the bench.

Very likely an injury has played into and sure, maybe it's worse than the club is letting on, but they're also very much spending a bench spot on him, of which he's not been leaving...

I don’t see much point in going round and round on this, but …

If Banks has been too injured to play, why has he been on the bench all these many weeks? He should instead be on the injured list (and not dressing for matches).

I don’t doubt that Banks has an ankle injury, but he shouldn’t be on the bench if he can’t play.

the timing of the different "news" things recently with this player is odd....i mean ....he basically announces his recruitment is back open and then doesnt play another minute for his club....injury or not...its odd

plus augsburg has an american owner as well

its not as if he was getting some kind of special treatment ....with his playing time...it was totally deserved.....

i suppose its all just coincidence....but its strange, regardless

He probably hit the wall as the season went along and they shut him down for the stretch.Load management.
