The gray on the jersey just makes it look dirty. It would be better if it was all white with the black & gold trim. At least it's not as bad as Man City's 3rd jersey.

Leaving aside the sponsor, that's a gorgeous jersey.

Not sure what's cooler, to fly your own helicopter or have a pilot take you around the city. Probably the latter, so that you can check bigsoccer on your phone while in the air.

Anyway, as much as I like all yellow, this actually looks pretty good to me. Three different colors (grey/black/yellow) looks planned whereas Grey/yellow/yellow makes the grey look like a training top:

I was at that Mustangs air show, too. Great event.

There used to be a B-17 that would fly above my area of Columbus each year around Memorial Day, temporarily based out of the OSU airport (I think it was based out of Michigan). I wasn't ready to drop $300 for a 30 minute ride, but did enjoy how its flight plan was directly over my house. Haven't seen it in a few years, though.

Paisley is very hard to beat anyway, and that is paisley on a sports jersey executed to perfection.

I've seen "Fifi" (B-29) overhead a few times in Central Ohio. What I really want to see is one of the Me 262 replicas. They were reverse engineered from the one that was close to where I grew up at Willow Grove NAS. However, Paul Allen's museum has an original one that is supposedly almost ready for flight tests. They have run up the engines. But it remains to be seen if they will actually fly it (they will not fly their FW 190-D, for example, as it is too rare).

Sadly, Allens museum is closed and there's serious question about whether it will ever reopen.

Coolest shit ever. They have an actual V 1. A Spitfire. (That 190 is literally the only one in existence). Just great. Much better than the WWII Museum in New Orleans, which is sort of a disappointment although when I was there they had a temporary loan of an 88 which was cool to see. But nothing else much that's unique.

The place I want to go is that whack job in England who has all those tanks, German and otherwise. He has one of ten existing King Tigers and one of only 2 that run, and just tons of stuff. He has the only existing German E Boat which is supposedly almost fully restored.

People claim he's basically a closet Nazi Hitler lover but I just think he's crazy.

There's a place in Texas that does that stuff.

They have artillery pieces too, (Russian D20 152mm you can shoot).

I've seen the King Tiger in La Glieze, Belgium. Still sits where it stopped during the Battle of the Bulge.

There are a couple other 190-D's in existence--the Air Force Museum has one, but Allen's is the only D-13 variant left.

    Here's the 262 from Allen's museum

Edit: I had plans to go to the museum on a PNW trip in May of 2019, but....

    Isn't there a 262 at Wright-Patterson?

Yes. But only one is airworthy. There should be more but the Navy used a bunch of old planes to extend the runway at Pax River and the Air Force buried some at Freeman Field in Indiana. What they'd be worth today....

FWIW, I drove over today and was able to score an XL yellow Nationwide Children's authentic at the store. Unfortunately, it lacked the Scott's patch, as it was from the first match (before the sponsorship was announced). Also, it had a name on the back (Wormgoor) which made it more expensive. On the plus side, it was 40% off, so I "only" paid $102, including the 2nd star.

Speaking of, can anyone recommend a t-shirt shop that puts em on?

Anyway, looked to be the last XL yellow. Had some GK authentics in larger sizes.

But that's a third jersey. IMO, it's more than ok to let the creativity run wild with them.

Any idea how long it takes for Crew Shop orders to be ready for pickup? I ordered the new kit yesterday morning and still haven’t heard anything from them.
