No Trolling; just want to know opinion on Mexican players in EPL

    Let's change that statement to "to be a top player TODAY you have to play in the top flights of Europe. My condolences to you, Pele. :)

    But perhaps it should be " to be one of the top paid players who is regarded by Europeans as great, you have to play in the top flights of Europe but you can become and be a great player elsewhere." ;)

    as it now stands if you are a great player, you will wind up playing in Europe.

    I actually think the Mexican game is far more adaptable to the EPL than any of the South American leagues. I think Mexican players would do well in the EPL.

    Borgetti made his debut tonight, but only for a couple minutes, coming on in the late stages of a 2-0 win over newcastle. Now let's see him score Goals for the club :-D
