We had that manager and fired him for Arbeloa. We are stuck in the same cycle if we do this. By all accounts Arbeloa is an intelligent and serious manager. The problem is not his capability but being instructed in a certain way from above and having his hands tied. Give him actual freedom to do something. This season was not a way to evaluate Arbeloa. Get Vinicius, MMA guys and Spanish outcast out, that is the priority not Arbeloa.

Basing such a decision on media narratives and especially Barca fans opinions is kinda ridiculous. If you want to kick out someone, kick out those who called him a cone. Thats actually the right thing to do. The man knows Madridismo and knows football. He has been a servant and we know he can be fierce as well. It would be a shame if we kick him out because of memes, especially if the replacement is basically a pundit whos main job is Snickers afs. The club convincing us that Arbeloa the problem is playing into their hands.

His cucking tenure started with a KO vs Albacete in CDR and it ends with handing LaLiga to Barcelona with an El Clasico loss.

His ultimate objective was sucking off Junior until he renewed. He has so far failed in that too.

No way should he even be part of the next coach's team even as a cone holder.

I have zero sympathy for this half man..

Half the locker room calls him a cone, the other half doesn't speak to him. He's just organic matter wasting oxygen at this point.

Why did Raul never got the chance,he was the obvious option if we were hoping for another Zidane

Why Arbeloa....why finished Mourinho,Raul is a legend like Zidane and he wasn't a fan of the galactico policy so he doesn't like when players think they are bigger than the club and undisputed starters,he could have made the necessary big decisions

Arbeloa will need to find a new job regardless. He's not for this level, and he obviously doesn't have the respect of these players. Mourinho is next, for better or worse.

He needs a small tiny club.
Unfortunately for him, he didn't had a CR, benzema, modric, tony, ramos and others to manage - instead he got a bunch of lazy fu(kers and a president with an appetite for diatruction.

Good on him for taking this pathetic group of individuals because it certainly tarnished his image. But I have no doubt he will succeed somewhere else. A man of the club.

I think he has set himself with the image of a yes man manager. So any club looking for that type of coach will be the ones hiring him.

These clubs want obedient figures for the boardroom, not necessarily pushovers in the dressing room to make x or y "happy" at all costs.

It's a pointless prediction, but Arbeloa will not be hired by any serious club in Spain. His reputation is that of a doormat. Best thing that can happen for him is he keeps working for the club in some capacity

Maybe that was AA's goal from the start. Keep his head down and hope he has banked enough goodwill with his bosses to transition/ go back in some capacity.

Cortegana mentioned it weeks ago that both Arbeloa and the club kept the details around his deal a bit blurry because the main goal was for him to remain employed by the club.

I don't think he treated the job like a springboard to another club.

Reputations are not the reality. After all this time we should be immune to media narratives. Sure Arbeloa is flawed. I dont begrudge him coddling Vinicius, he was doing Florentino's bidding and he bet all chips on the idea that a coddled Vinicius will lead us to glory. It served to prove Vinicius is not that good and is expendable here. However I do begrudge him not being able to prevent the second Valverde Tchouameni fight or prevent the constant leaks. It screams inexperience. Xabi's priority from day one was to prevent leaks. He knew the toxic environment with the media vultures around the club. Just goes to show what we lost, again.

Still, Arbeloa just gained that experience. Why do we get rid of him just as he leveled up? There are always going to be disgruntled players at the manager in this club, whoever the manager is. It will happen with Mourinho too. So instead of rotating managers in the futile quest to find the Jesus like figure that will be loved by everyone, just remove the dissenters now and give the current manager loyal hardworking guys that he himself selects and therefore show gratitude to him.

Arbeloa giving chances to canteranos and turning Thiago into a first teamer is something that speaks a lot about him. Im not going to forget that because of our captains insolence. He didnt choose the captains after all.

Arebloa also doesn't have the cajones to sub out the trio of Mbappe, Vini and Jude regardless how bad they play. 3 unsubbable players is too much.

That alone is enough for me to replace him.

Such individual that has the cajones to do that, in the current system will be replaced for exactly doing that. Therefore the issue is not the manager cajones but upper management and player power. One of them has to gain consciousness of this. The players will not be that, they are after all players. Its the upper management's job to think about the team and figure out the system.

Therefore the upper management has three choices:

    1. continue business as so far,

    2. inform the players that the coach's authority is unquestionable and therefore dissent will lead to removal

    3. remove before this happens, anticipating that players will dissent regardless of informing them

None of these have anything to do with who exactly the coach is. But management is simply too lazy and cowardly to be proactive and progressive to be open to cutting up the roster with all the scouting, negotiations, bureaucracy, accounting, media frenzy that comes with it, so they opt for 1. and the downward cycle continues.
