You wouldn't even know they were playing tomorrow. Maybe the Dutch people here are worried because out of all (only 4, but meh) the qualification matches the Dutch squad has ever played in june, they've only won 1. With one of those not won games being against Belarus (that's Wit Rusland in English right?) in 1995, which they lost with 1-0. Hey, they are playing Belarus tomorrow aren't they? newsbytes: . Hasselbaink and Ricksen are injured, won't play . Cocu has healed sufficiently . A training game between Oranje and Ajax ended in a 1-1 draw. Note that all the international Ajax players weren't available to play in this game, so not so great result for Oranje if you ask me, even though Ajax still have a few great players left when you remove the internationals. Goalscorers: v Bronckhorst & vd Gun who is back in Amsterdam after a season playing for Willem II. . van Gaal will be giving his opinion of this game on the Dutch tv channel showing the match . Probable starting line-up
Seedorf has got to be the worst thing ever for Oranje... what a phucking MORON. Passing a ball back over +- 5 metres is pretty hard huh? Zenden???? What the phuck is Zenden doing inthe national team??? Advocaatje moet lekker optiefen.
is seedorf really doing that bad? last time i saw him play was against the Czechs and i thought he did pretty well, plus i think he is currently one of the best players on the national team (when he is playing for his club) btw nice to see overmars back. now just get zenden out of there and i'll be happy.
I might be slightly biased (I can't stand him) but he makes mistakes that are too stupid to comprehend. He plays with an arrogant attitude like "I'll do this, I'm Seedorf" (like those penalties he always misses). The guy is an arrogant prick who makes more mistakes than good actions. He's not popular in Holland and I think that has something to do with it. He somehow chokes but wants to keep up appearances. That makes it worse. Sure, he gives a nice pass every now and then, but alltogether I'd be ashamed if I were him.
Overmars got his little 'revenge' on Advocaat, it was a bad game, but a great goal. I'm now watching Spain vs Greece, the start looks promising!
Couldn't watch the match, I was too busy drinking large amounts of beer (it happens sometimes). But 0-2 seems like a decent result, Belarus is a tough opponent, always defending . Nice to see Overmars scored the game winner. Anyway, if Advocaat wanted more goals he should've put Martin Drent in the starting lineup, simple as that...................
Player Ratings? Anybody see the game who can tell me how the individual players did? I read that RVN was invisible (this happens too often for him at the intl level for my taste) but that Overmars was very good. Anybody have any other insights?
