Could be that we will have two Mendes clients all of a sudden if Yoro joins as well. Club tried to sell Asensio in 2022. He was underwhelming and now overpaid at PSG. Lunin apparently wants to stay. PSG, City etc have top GKs already.
He's right now a level above anybody Manchester United can put in their goal and Bayern have to start looking at life without Neuer if we're completely honest. I'm still positive and simply feel like he hired somebody to do the contract stuff.

Needlessly we brought in Kepa. We never needed him because Lunin had IT in him. He has grown so far he has take Courtois job tonight. With both hands.
This man and Rudiger. They’ve become hero’s and stepped up when the club needed them. Forever legends for me for that alone.
I love Tibo and he’ll get his chance back but regardless if he comes back this season, we have to stay with Lunin. It’s only fair.
I think Carlo will play Courtois in La Liga and Lunin in CL and CDR to start the season. 8 first round games in CL under new system as well. Neuer is very old though and we are going after Davies probably. So Bayern might make a move for Lunin. Still has contract until 2025 so it's still in our hands. Best case scenario will be renewing Lunin and choosing sole starting GK in 2025-26 based on performance next season.
Hope anyone else doubting Lunin's quality, take up their opinions, shine them up real nice, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up their candy @$$.

I'm very sceptical that he'll renew with us, given the lack of clarity around a starting spot, offers that he'll receive from other top European clubs and our wage structure. However, I won't bare any grudges against our Ukrainian hero if he decides to leave. An absolutely phenomenal performance from him across both legs, and a great recovery after that potential goalkeeping error in the 1st minute of the 1st leg. I was appalled at how little praise he (and Rudiger, to a lesser extent) received from the TNT Sports team during and after the match.
I've said it before, insert a 2 year buyback clause if he has offers. I'm pretty sure he wants to be in Madrid of all places. It's a win win.
I read an article (I think ESPN) his wife say they just brought a house in Madrid like this past year. I think at the very least Lunin is planning a long term future here.

More than likely he feels it like everyone else, it’s his first time at this level so I know it’s in him, but he comes across generally as not an overly exuberant guy on the outside, I know that well, nothing wrong with that, ( not that you are saying there is) pretty sure he’s as ecstatic as every other member of the club
He has his face stuck in with that shook look with an air of stoicism which seems to seems to work well for him.
