The all-white kits have some bad reputation.

2-0 defeat to Swiss, which took us out of the group stage in 2006
2-1 defeat to Bahrain, which was a shock in Asian Cup 2007
2-1 defeat to Uruguay, which ends our run in World Cup 2010

All-White suppose to make our players too bigger, but it also is such a passive color.

    THIS

I've called out Kim Jung-Woo for his tendency to waste possession, make clumsy tackles, and general uselessness since the WCQ last year, but a lot of people defend him. He's not defendable after this performance though. Jung Sung-Ryong and Lee Dong-Gook contributed just as much to the loss as KJW did though.

    LOL. Well said.

However, it wasn't as if we had any ready replacements for him. It's a collective fault of the Korean footballing culture for not producing a proper successor to Kim Nam Il and Yoo Sang Chul.

KJW gave everything he had. He just isn't talented enough. It wasn't through lack of effort, so we have to give him that.

His giveaway to Luis Suarez in the second half was atrocious.

When that happened everyone I was watching with went:

    "WHAT THE FCUK!?"

Exactly. It was inexplicable. He was in his own third, with at least 3 Koreans around him, and absolutely no pressure from opponents.

Yet he managed to place it PERFECTLY to the one place where the best opposing striker on the field could get it.

To me, it shows me that he has no confidence and probably gets a lot of flak from his own teammates about playing poorly. He is constantly freaked out about making mistakes when burdened with the ball, and doesn't have the nerves to look around before making a move. He just kicks (or shoots, WTF) the ball away in order to absolve himself of responsibility, which backfires on him because he frequently gifts it to the opposition.

the cost of dropping Koo Ja Cheol, Kim Nam Il may have fcked up against Nigeria but not the way Kim Jung Woo did against Uruguay.

Seriously, KJW contributed absolutely nothing. it's like playing with -1 player. I was watching the game with family and friends and I couldn't help but cuss out everytime he got the ball. I think I saw him lob a long pass out of bounds where there was neither a Korean or Uruguayan player anywhere near the area. his shot on goal, as usual, went straight over the goal post and into the stands. His giveaway that almost cost us a goal. he tried to do his retarded backheel pass thing when he was on our side of the field and under absolutely no pressure. And that blatant and retarded tackle that got him a yellow.

This guy needs to follow the likes of lee ho and JJJ and never ever appear for KNT or WC EVER again. Just disappear never to be heard of again.

Blame FIFA. They were the one that designated the team colors. Korea should have worn the blue shorts today but FIFA prohibited them from doing so.

All white kits are not only bland and boring but also very unlucky. No team has ever won the World Cup wearing an all white kit and today the US has lost in an all white kit.

I say death to all white kits.

man take a chill. nobody is saying its only the kits fault. but yes its true when was the last time a all white kit won? swiss? england? new zealand? korea? usa? denmark? greece? france?

it is kind of telling isnt it. it is not necessarily the reason these teams lost/doing poor. but seriously why the all white kit?

Actually, our team beat Poland in the 2002 WC with their white shirts on. How about they wear stripes like the Argentinians and make it black and white like zebras to confuse the opponent?
