Anyone heard the news from soccertv.com? There will be no more 1a. Liga on RTPi nor the SporTV package on Dish Network. SPT gets the exclusive rights for North America. The point is, it looks like another case of an upstart network bidding up the price for futebol to gain market share. Do you see that as another PSN (a channel on Sky Mexico that overpaid for Serie A and all kinds of European games, and ended up in bankruptcy)? or is that a major player on the rise? Does anyone know how big the subscriber base of SPT is right now? It's been on the air for almost a year.
I haven't heard anything from SoccerTV but I did hear matches from Portugal and Spain cannot be seen anywhere in North America.
