    You know, I wonder what "skills" they wanted to see from him, and what if anything those skills have to do with keeping the ball out of the net.

    My suspicion is that his handling of the ball with his feet and his distribution werent up to what they demand, and thats why they passed.

    No surprise there--the technical standard in the Dutch league in general and definitely at the top clubs is of La Liga-ish quality. Watch Bergkamp awhile and you'll understand:)

    Cannon arrives, French Surrender.

    Actually, Cannon trained with Metz in the offseason last year so France was always a possibility.
