[NMC] Can anybody see the fire?

    At about 10 AM a barge exploded on the Arthur Kill and now there is a massive fire. Supposedly it is on the Staten Island side of the Arthur Kill near Woodbridge, NJ.

    I easily see the smoke from Somerset, NJ, but obviously can't see whats happening from here.

    Any first-hand accounts?

    My office is right outside the Staten Island Ferry and out my window I have a pretty good view...didn't hear anything, right now I just a ton of black smoke.


    Seems to be lifting....I guess they have it under control already.

    Thanks, the guy on WCBS said the fire was starting to "peter out".

    You can see the smoke at my high school in northern Monmouth county
