I think we were a bit fortunate there. So does Graem Lesaux.

Make a new one with Eze, Wrighty, Freddie, Wiltord and Deccy.

It looked like we had 3 guys in an offside position, all in front of the keeper :whistling:

Vicario had a clear line of sight of the ball but rule seems to be enforced very arbitrarily, par for the course in England.

It also looked like a clear line between Eze and Vicario

    HT 2-0

UTTER DOMINATION of 1T :D ... and the goals finally showed up to cement the stats.

    Poss: 70% - 30%
    Shots: 8 - 0
    SOG: 4 - 0

Now we just have a few goals for 2T: No goals conceded, or at least no more than one. And no injuries or red cards.

Damn straight! Not just his goal, but because he's another one we stole out of their hands.

p.s. One of my favorite keepers was from the time I joined up with the Arse... Pat Jennings... another robbery we committed in N17. ;)

I wonder if the reason that second goal wasn't offside is because even though theres 2 Arsenal players potentially blocking the GK view in front of the 2 Arsenal players is a Spurs defender.

I will take the goal, justified or not, but for me, I don't understand why the studio didn't even debate it at the half.

Seemed just as noteworthy as the other goals that were questioned over the past two match weeks.

Why do I feel badly that if we win 3-1 or 4-1 or even 5-1 I'd be upset?

I don't, especially considering they are going to focus on the Eze second goal being "offside" all week.

Batter them by 5+ goals and then theres no doubt.
